Zaldy: Regular physical exercise is the single, most effective intervention that can improve brain and physical health. No matter how busy my schedule is, I try to incorporate some level of physical activity every day. Some days, I will only have time to walk briskly a few blocks during my lunch hour or after work.
Mr. Maggiulli leaves us with an apt analogy. Money, he tells us, is like salt: Too little makes life bland and unsatisfying, but too much can ruin it altogether. It is difficult but worthwhile to find the right amount for your taste.
The best quote in the book comes from John D. Rockefeller, who, when asked how much money is enough, supposedly answered, “just a little bit more.”
